#MeToo #TimesUp - How These Campaigns Are Changing The Face Of Compensation

16:00 at Webinar - 11:00 ET, 16:00 GMT

The Harvey Weinstein saga sparked a reaction globally and the resulting #MeToo and #TimesUp Campaigns have highlighted not just issues of systemic sexual harassment in the workplace but broader issues affecting women, including fair pay in the workplace.  Some high profile individuals are now taking action in the name of these campaigns such as the actor Mark Wahlberg who agreed to donate the US $1.5M he made for reshoots on the film "All the Money in the World" to the legal defence fund in the name of his co-star, Michelle Williams, who was reportedly paid less than US$1,000 for the same reshoots.  These high profile actions are likely to lead to greater litigation over sexual harassment and pay equity in the workplace, not just in Hollywood.  All employers should consider the impact of how raised awareness can drive potential claims of discrimination and be prepared to respond.

In this Webinar, led by Ruth Thomas, our Industry Principal, we will explore how these campaigns may impact the pace of emerging Equal Pay Legislation in the US and elsewhere, as well as sharing information on how to drive a fair pay agenda within your own organization including conducting self-audits for equal pay, understanding the difference between equal pay and gender pay gaps plus ensuring that pay transparency is an integral part of your reward principals.

This webinar will be held at 11:00 EST, 16:00 GMT.
